To my Teachers at Megurokobetsu
Through the tumultuous period of undertaking the IB diploma, thank you for providing me an invaluable lifeline. Through learning concepts as basic as sentence structure to concepts as complicated as the specific literary devices for specific text types, this establishment and its teachers helped me in a way that would have been irreplaceable. They were supportive, understanding and most importantly fostered in me the confidence I needed. I can say with full conviction in my words that the teaching here was a vital, important part of what allowed me to reach my dream university. More importantly, Megurokobetsu has opened up the entire field of Japanese literature through the confidence it inspired in me.
